Our Pool Location & Sessions
Our hydrotherapy pool is at Ysgol Pen Coch, Prince of Wales Avenue, Flint, CH6 5DL
We run weekly sessions from 3.45pm - 6:00pm and during school holidays, sessions run five days a week from 10:00am - 4:00pm
The pool at Ysgol Pen Coch is fully accessible for children and adults with complex health needs and limited mobility. Facilities include two integrated changing rooms with shower beds and hoists that transfer directly into the pool, plus four additional changing rooms with showers.
The pool is kept at a warm 34–35°C to help relax muscles, with warm air around the pool so everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy their time in the water.
Many people miss out on the joy of swimming with family and friends because suitable facilities are not available. Traditional pools can be overwhelming and physically inaccessible, making shared experiences difficult. The pool we use helps ensure nobody misses out, providing a safe, warm and accessible space where everyone can enjoy the benefits of being in the water.
