At Gofal Seren, we’re united by a shared passion to uplift the lives of children everywhere. We believe that every young mind deserves the freedom to grow, explore, and thrive. Our mission is to create a world where every child can relax, play, and flourish, unhindered by obstacles or limitations.
In 2024, a group of like-minded individuals spoke with families of children and young people with complex medical needs and physical disabilities. Frustrated by the lack of accessible services, they founded Gofal Seren CIC, a not-for-profit company dedicated to providing safe, inclusive hydrotherapy experiences that promote physical wellbeing, emotional growth, and family connection.
We have partnered with Ysgol Pen Coch to provide weekly hydrotherapy sessions, as well as additional sessions during school holidays. Our work is proudly funded by the National Lottery Awards for All Grant and UNTLD, enabling us to deliver these vital services to the families who need them most.
Our Mission
We provide inclusive hydrotherapy sessions that support the health, confidence, and social development of children and young people with complex medical needs and physical disabilities. We create safe, supportive environments where children can enjoy the freedom of movement, manage symptoms like pain and muscle spasms, and take part in shared family experiences.
Create an Inclusive Physical and Emotional Safe Space
We are committed to providing a safe, fully accessible environment where children, families, and caregivers can come together to explore, learn, and grow.
Support the Whole Family
We recognise that the challenges faced by children with complex medical needs and disabilities extend to their families and caregivers. Our sessions are designed to offer holistic support, ensuring that everyone involved receives the care and assistance they need.
Build Lifelong Connections
We believe in the power of community. Our sessions offer everyone the chance to meet new friends and establish networks with like-minded individuals who understand their unique experiences. This not only combats feelings of isolation but also fosters mutual support and understanding.
